Dog's Name: Posey (POS0226ALAFD)
Estimated Breed: Hound mix
Approximate Age: 1.5 years
Approximate Weight: 40 lbs
Currently Living at: Foster
Adoption Fee: $400
DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Posey!
This lovely young Hound mix is on the hunt…not for squirrels (well, maybe a little), but for a forever family to call her own. Posey is the total package: friendly, gentle, and blessed with that calm, easygoing personality that makes you instantly relax. She’s the kind of girl who will happily join you for a stroll around the neighborhood, then curl up at your feet like she’s been yours forever. Her sweet disposition shines through in everything she does. And if you already have a canine crew? No problem! Posey gets along great with other dogs and would be thrilled to have a built-in best friend. She’s polite, kind, and happy to share the spotlight.
If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will greet you with love, fill your home with warmth, and remind you daily that the best things in life have four paws…Posey is ready and waiting. Apply today — all she needs now is you.
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
