My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Honey: Pure Sunshine in a Tiny Package!
Looking for a petite companion with a massive heart? Honey is a young adult female (approx. 6 months old) who is as sweet as her name suggests! She may be small, but her personality is huge. Honey is the ultimate lap cat—she’ll happily snuggle in, purr up a storm, and "make biscuits" on your lap for hours. When she’s not cuddling, she’s a playful, curious girl who loves chasing feather wands and watching the world from a sunny window. She is gentle, great with kids, and looking to bring warmth to your home. Could you be the one to give this little lovebug her forever home?

Additional adoption info

Please come in and visit with our pets available for adoption. Once you find an animal you would like to adopt, you will be asked to fill out an adoption survey and meet with an adoption counselor. We do require landlord approval and we do not adopt out animals to live completely outside. Our adoption fees are $75 for dogs and cats under 5 years old and $55 for those 5 years and older.

The shelter has very active volunteer and foster programs. Volunteers walk dogs and help with cat care. Fosters take young, shy and injured animals into their homes to prepare them for adoption. Learn more on our website and consider getting involved today!
