Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Enya came to the shelter as a stray alongside her brother, Flint, who has since found his forever home. When she first arrived, Enya was understandably nervous and unsure of her new surroundings. But in just three short months, this sweet little gem has begun to blossom. Each day, Enya grows more confident, happily exploring every nook of the free-roaming lobby and discovering the world at her own pace. She can still be a bit shy if someone approaches too quickly, but with a slow, gentle approach, Enya begins to relax and show her true self. Beneath her shy exterior is a playful and delightful girl who enjoys her quiet adventures and gentle companionship. With patience, understanding, and love, Enya will continue to build trust and become a deeply devoted companion. Enya is looking for a calm, caring home that will give her the time she needs to fully shine. Watching her confidence grow is truly special—and her future family will be rewarded with the sweetest bond.

More about this shelter
The Gananoque & District Humane Society (GDHS) is a volunteer run no kill animal shelter that takes in abandoned or surrendered animals, provides them with medical care and attempts to find them forever homes. Every animal that enters GDHS is quarantined, assessed and examined by a vet (if necessary), spayed or neutered, microchipped, and given vaccinations prior to being available for adoption. We do not receive guaranteed funding from any source and rely on the generosity of our community.
