My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Pebble is a beautiful 1-year-old dilute calico with a  quiet, thoughtful spirit. When she first arrived into rescue from a TNR colony, the world felt like a big, scary place. She spent much of her time tucked safely under her little tent in her foster home, watching from a distance and learning to trust. While she’s still a bit skittish around new people and unfamiliar noises, Pebble has made incredible progress in a short time and continues to grow braver every day.

Once she feels safe, her playful side truly shines! Pebble loves wand toys, batting around balls, and playing the cutest games of peek-a-boo with her catnip mice — especially when she’s allowed to “catch” her prize. Her absolute favorite toy is the Cat Dancer (those irresistible little pieces of cardboard on a wire), and she has become a total pro with the wobble treat ball. She also enjoys relaxing with some “cat TV,” happily watching the action on screen.

When it comes to affection Pebble is a total sweetheart. She loves being petted and will roll around adorably, begging for more attention once she trusts you. It’s incredibly rewarding to earn her love — she bonds deeply and shows it with soft eyes and happy wiggles.

Because of her cautious nature, Pebble would do best in a quieter home without small children or dogs. A patient adopter who understands that confidence takes time will be rewarded with a devoted and playful companion. We believe a friendly, outgoing kitty companion could also help her continue to blossom and feel even more secure.

Pebble may start out as a shy little stone, but with love and patience, she’ll become the brightest gem in your home. Pebble is currently fostered in St Paul.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is simple. The very first step is to fill out our adoption interest form through our website.

We'll look over your application and determine if the animal you are interested in is a good match for your family. If it looks like a good match, we will contact you to set up a time for you to meet the animal. If you decide after meeting him/her that you want to move forward with adoption, we will set up a home visit and finalize the adoption! Please note that filling out an interest form does not guarantee adoption of an animal, and we don't adopt out animals on a first come first serve basis. We endeavor to find the best match for all animals and families.

Adoption fees cover age appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter (if old enough), and costs involved in caring for the animals up to the point of adoption. Adoption fees also help fund veterinary costs of animals who come to rescue that need extra care.
