Darius loves the other kitties in the house. He hangs out with them and sleeps with them and will need a best kitty friend in his new home to make him feel welcome. His kitty friend will be his touchstone and security and the one who helps him settle in and adjust to a whole new world. He's ready to fit into a little clan of kitty friends and enjoy life in the bosom of his family.
Darius is a little shy with new people and will take a minute to be sure that he is truly loved. We require that adopters sign our adoption contract and a legally binding no-declawing agreement. There is an adoption fee. Most adult cats are $80 except for those who are sponsored or part of a special. Kittens under 8 months are $145. All adults are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens are adopted at 12 weeks of age or older and are spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

We each give what we can to help these cats get through this most unfortunate time in their lives when they have been taken to the pound or are otherwise lost and homeless. Some of us share our homes with these cats while they are waiting for their forever family, some transport them from place to place, some host adoption fairs, take pictures, post ads. Some offer financial help. We each do what we can to help. And through this dedicated group of people, more than a thousand cats have been saved and found loving homes.
