My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zelda- friendly, outgoing and confident. She is the cutest little tabby girl with frosted off ears. She warms up right away with a new family and adores other kitties so having a kitty friend in her new home to romp and play with is a must. She has some Ninja skills that will keep you entertained for hours including huge jumps up to her high lookout points such as the top of the kitchen cabinets. Her favorite toys include the little catnip filled mice and bouncy balls. Zelda is not bothered by loud sounds, has endless energy and likes to chat, including being an exceptional biscuit maker. And play! Wow this girl can play!

She enjoys naps by the fireplace and will direct you to turn on the fireplace if it’s not on. At bedtime her favorite spot is on the couch snuggled with cozy blankets and pillows. She enjoys sipping water from the sink faucet. This sweet girl will love space outdoors to enjoy the sunshine and fresh air. She should be fine with older kids and a mellow dog who will respect her space. She is estimated to be around a year old.

She is in Wasilla. Please call 907-350-8089. Thank you!

Additional adoption info

We require that adopters sign our adoption contract and a legally binding no-declawing agreement. There is an adoption fee. Most adult cats are $80 except for those who are sponsored or part of a special. Kittens under 8 months are $135. All adults are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens are adopted at 12 weeks of age or older and are spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

Due to the pandemic, most of our adoptions are done virtually. Some of our cats are also available for adoption from their foster homes.

More about this rescue

Clear Creek Cat Rescue is a group of individuals in Alaska dedicated to rescuing cats in need, giving them care, rehabilitation if needed, and finding happy homes for them. We each give what we can to help these cats get through this most unfortunate time in their lives when they have been taken to the pound or are otherwise lost and homeless. Some of us share our homes with these cats while they are waiting for their forever family, some transport them from place to place, some host adoption fairs, take pictures, post ads. Some offer financial help. And through this dedicated group of people, more than a thousand cats have been saved and found loving homes.
In 2017, we rescued and rehomed approximately 500 cats.
