Hello! My name is Socks. I came to Good Home when a nice human took me in after my owner died and I was found wandering on the street. Now I live in a foster home and love having human companions to socialize with!

I’m a cheerful, agreeable girl who is happiest when she’s with her humans. While I’m not a lap cat, I really like having my back and tail stroked, and cheek and chin scratches are the best! I’m a charming, quirky, affectionate buddy who loves to chat with my humans and tell them all about my day. Once I’ve caught you up to my goings on, I enjoy taking a break to play with my catnip toy, my mouse toy, or my ball.

I have good manners, I’m not aggressive, and while I don’t *love* being held or carried, I tolerate it politely. When my foster person took me to the vet, I was very well-behaved. Of course when we got home I made sure to voice my thoughts on the appointment (with the cutest meows possible)!

I’d be happiest in a moderately active house with gentle, attentive humans who give me my space but also love my companionship. My foster people don’t know if I’ve lived with kids or dogs before, so they aren’t sure if I’d do well with them. I’m pretty happy as a single cat, but I might do well with another cat that complements my bright but easy-going energy. More than anything, I’d love my very own human who will talk with me, play with me, and let me lovingly share my life with them! Could that be you?
