My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Aurora and Amber

These two sisters are learning what it means to trust humans. They`ve been living inside since they were `teenagers` but have not had much in the way of socialization. They know that people provide them with food and clean their litter boxes but haven`t learned the pleasures of a good ear scratch or a warm lap. That will take some time.

The key to making cats like Amber and Aurora comfortable in your home is patience. Undersocialized cats usually follow the Rule of 3: it can take these cats 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to start settling in, and 3 months to feel at home and show their personality. Here are a few things you can expect from your undersocialized cats:

*Hiding: for the best transition, we highly recommend confining these girls to a smaller room in the home like an office or a spare bedroom where they can learn about their new surroundings but still feel secure.

*Transition: remember to be patient while these girls discover their new home.

*Hands-on work: Most cats love food and using stinky wet food and Churu treats is a great way for you to bond with you new cat. Using a back scratcher to pet your cat while you`re giving them tasty food will help them to associate petting with good things.

These girls are currently up to date on all vaccinations, have been spayed microchipped and seen by our vet team.
