Hello, I'm Sir Hemingway! I may be a little shy at first, but give me a moment and you'll see my playful, goofy side come to life. I’m a polydactyl, which means I have extra toes—it's like I'm always wearing little mittens, and I think it’s pretty cute! I love to hunt my toys and leave them on my foster mommy’s bed, or sometimes I’ll bring them to my friends and leave them in their bowls. I can be rambunctious and playful, but I do get a bit scared when approached by people. The good news is, I’ll come to you when I’m ready and happily cuddle up next to you on the bed or couch. While I’m not a fan of being picked up or held, I do enjoy attention in my own way.
I would really thrive in a home with other cats, or maybe even as a working cat with lots of friends. My best friend, Tank, and I do everything together—we help each other come out of our shells and share lots of love. Could I be the sweet, semi-social companion you’ve been looking for?
