Steve is a 2-year-old sweetheart with the gentlest soul and the cutest little “tell” when he wants something. (Spoiler: if he’s serenading you nonstop, his food bowl is empty or he would like your attention immediately, please).
Rescued from the streets, Steve has settled beautifully into indoor life. He’s affectionate without being clingy. He loves to be near his people, soaking up belly rubs and chin scratches, but he’s more of a “sit beside you” guy than a full-time lap cat. When you find his favorite petting spots, he’ll happily make biscuits to show his appreciation.
Steve’s favorite things include:
Looking out the window and supervising the neighborhood
Lounging on a screened-in porch
Catnip (enthusiastically)
Dangly toys he can leap at
Belly rubs (yes, really!)
He’s an easygoing, tolerant guy who handles new situations with surprising patience. That gentle nature makes us think he could do wonderfully in a home with respectful kids. Steve coexists peacefully with other cats but doesn’t really seek them out for play. One thing to know: vacuums are deeply suspicious and absolutely not his favorite. But honestly… same, Steve.
