My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

**If you are interested in being considered for this dog, please be sure to complete an application directly on our website - not through a 3rd party service.**

Meet Frankie

At 140 pounds, Frankie is basically a small horse who wishes he was a lap dog. This lovable adult (believed to be approximately 4 years old) Great Dane mix spends his days proudly tossing around  his beloved stuffy toys, heading out for walks, playing with other dogs, and melting into puddles for neck scratches.

Frankie may only have “two brain cells,” and they occasionally bump into each other, but both are fully committed to loving his people with his whole oversized heart.

Underneath the goofball energy is a sensitive soul who bonds deeply and feels big feelings in his big body. He’ll need a calm, patient adopter who can offer reassurance and gentle guidance. In return, you’ll get 140 pounds of loyalty, laughter, and a best friend who will absolutely lean his entire weight on you at every opportunity. Frankie will need a yard and will do best with sturdy children.

If you’re ready for a sweet, silly gentle giant, Frankie is your guy.

Frankie’s adoption fee is $350.  This includes age appropriate vaccines, completed wellness visit, completed neuter and microchip

Go meet their pets

Our rescue is foster based, therefore you will need to make an appointment to visit with any of our animals that are available for adoption.
Most of our adoptable animals come from high kill shelters. Occasionally we are given specific breed information on the animals, but more often, we have to make an educated guess as to breed or mixture based on size, color and physical characteristics.
