Our Laundry Litter is officially ready for adoption! This adorable group of six terrier mix puppies includes four boys — Wrinkle, Fuzzball, Suds, and Ruffle — and two girls — Shrink and Linty. They are currently 8 weeks old and range from 3 to 4.7 lbs.
Their mom is an 18‑lb wirehaired terrier mix, and while we didn’t see the father, we suspect he was likely medium‑sized. Each puppy has their own little personality, but they all share the same sweet, social nature. They’ve already had wonderful early socialization with humans and have even attended several of our pet therapy events with a local mental health hospital, where they soaked up all the love and attention from the patients and employees there.
Because they are still very young, they are not house-trained and will need full training and continued socialization with people and other animals to ensure they grow up confident and comfortable.
Their adoption fee is $450 each.
What’s included in the adoption fee: 4 puppy booster vaccines
Microchip
Fecal exam (and full treatment if needed)
Rabies vaccine at 15 weeks
Spay/neuter between 10–12 weeks
Monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care
Free wellness exam within 7–10 days post‑adoption (we cover any treatment needed)
This is up to 6 vet visits, including exams!
Adopters must live in Tarrant County or within 30 minutes of our facility. Age requirement: 21+ Please note: These requirements help us ensure the best care for our puppies — we’re not able to make exceptions.
If you have any questions or would like to schedule a meet‑and‑greet, just send us an email or give us a call! These little ones are ready to start their next chapter with loving families.

Our adoption fees for adult dogs start at $300, though could be higher based on adoption demand and medical costs. Our adoption fees for puppies start at $400, though could be higher based on adoption demand, and includes 4 veterinary visits to update vaccines and perform spay/neuter. Some dogs have higher adoption fees because of adoption interest
Our shelter mission focuses on medical and behavioral rehab cases, so our adoption fees never cover our costs.
We have an adoption application for dogs and cats and will check a vet reference as well as information regarding your home situation and pet compatibility.
Some adoptions will require a home visit.

More about this shelter
Animal Hope opened its doors as a standalone shelter on February 1, 2015.
Prior to that, Animal Hope operated as a small rescue at Animal Hospital Southwest. As the municipal veterinarian for the city of Fort Worth, Animal Hospital Southwest frequently pulled difficult cases that the city was not equipped to treat and rehabilitate due to budgetary and time constraints.
From this organization was born the Animal Hope shelter, a rescue focusing on rehabilitation and “second chance” adoptions.
