My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cedar is a orange and white domestic shorthair male who is approximately 10 years old.

Cedar is a handsome senior gentleman with so much love to give. He may take a brief moment to warm up, but once he knows you are his person, he becomes the ultimate lover boy. Cedar adores cuddling in bed with his foster and truly never seems to tire of affection. You can pet him for as long as your heart desires and he will be happily purring the entire time.

He enjoys lounging on a comfy chair while watching the world go by outside the window. His purr is loud and reassuring, letting you know you have found all the right spots, and he will gladly roll over for belly scratches. If you call his name or make a little noise for him, he will come running for attention. Cedar has the sweetest quiet little chirp of a meow and is quite the talkative companion. He is a gentle, affectionate soul who would love nothing more than a cozy home and someone to share all his cuddles with.

Cedar would likely do very well with another cat or dog companion, with a proper and slow introduction.

Cedar is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies. He is FIV and FeLV negative and on parasite preventions. His adoption fee is $300. To apply, please submit an adoption application.

Additional adoption info

Most of our cats live in foster homes. Some are available to meet at satellite locations such as Pet Valu and Ren's Depot. A few foster homes are available to meet and greets at their home, or we also do meet and greets at request at our shelter prior to adoption. Most of these results in same day adoptions, and only take place after an adoption interview.
