Tiger is a little over one year old, and while his life didn’t start out easy, you’d never know it from the love he has to give. Rescued from a hoarding situation, Tiger had a rough beginning — but once he and his siblings/friends were safe with a loving foster mom, his true personality really came out.
This sweet boy is pure sunshine wrapped in soft fur. Tiger is a world-class snuggler who believes there’s no such thing as too much attention. He wants to be near his people and/or snuggled up with his foster buddies. If you scoop him up, he melts right into your arms — he’s completely comfortable being carried around the house, and typically makes biscuits and purrs the entire time!
Tiger is also very playful. He’s out of the “kitten terror” phase, but he still loves to run around and play with toys or wrestle with his buddies. He’s the kind of cat who will follow you from room to room just to be near you, soaking up every bit of affection he can get.
After a difficult start, Tiger is more than ready for his happily-ever-after. All he wants is a safe lap, a loving home, and someone who will cherish the incredibly sweet, resilient little soul he is. 🧡

Tiger has a nearly identical sister named Pippie who is also adoptable! While they would each be fine if adopted to different homes, they sure do make an adorable pair for anyone considering two cutie pies!!
Tiger is neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and in great health. He does a great job of keeping his litter box tidy.
After living in a colony / hoarding situation, Tiger gets along great with other cats. He has never met a dog, but given his calm and confident personality we believe that with proper introductions he could do great with a new pup sibling!

The adoption application can be found here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat Tiger, Pippie, and their hoarding house buddies are currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, or locations along these routes.

ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES: Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and transportation costs. Also, when you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you’re doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee sponsors a cat on the streets of Houston to get fixed, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. We thank you so much for your contribution to our efforts!
