My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ADOPTION DOUBLE AVEC A2000377883 Soel

DOUBLE ADOPTION WITH A2000377883 Soel

Ciel (Tabby) She is a very sweet and calm girl who becomes quite playful when she has energy. She loves climbing and exploring every corner she can reach. She is very affectionate and enjoys being cuddled; once she is comfortable with you, she will happily sit on your lap while you work or relax. Sometimes she will even jump onto your lap on her own for attention.

Both girls are very well-behaved at night. They might play occasionally, plaing with your leg under blanket, but they sometimes sleep right beside you. And in the morning, no playing or waking you up, they just sleep in their place on cat tower, waiting for you to wake up. They are very quiet and rarely meow, except for Soel when food is being prepared. They love playing together, chasing each other, and grooming one another.

More about this shelter

Founded in Montreal in 1869, the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (now known simply as the Montreal SPCA) was the first animal-welfare organization in Canada. It is not known under whose influence the society was formed, but its history acknowledges assistance from animal-welfare societies in France, England and the United States. In its early years, the SPCA concentrated primarily on improving the treatment of work horses, which were used all across the island of Montreal. The SPCA later began working on additional issues, such as humane dog control, cock-fighting and the killing of wild birds. The SPCA has come a long way since its beginnings: today, it is the largest animal-protection organization in Quebec, speaking on behalf of animals wherever there is ignorance, cruelty, exploitation or neglect.
