Jones was rescued from a feral cat colony in Silverton, and while it took her months to learn that humans can be kind, she’s now blossomed into an affectionate, loving companion. Once shy and unsure, she now seeks out cuddles, happily sleeps beside her people, and has even learned to play with her feline housemates.
Born with microphthalmia, one of Jones’s eyes is very tiny and she cannot see out of it — but it doesn’t slow her down one bit. In fact, we think it gives her an irresistibly jaunty look that only adds to her charm.
This adorable, fluffy black young adult is ready for a patient, loving home where she can continue to thrive and share her sweet nature. Jones is proof that with time and love, beautiful transformations happen.
Adoption Information
To ensure safe and successful placements, we require:
All cats adopted through **Silverton Cat Rescue** are spayed/neutered, FIV/FeLV tested, microchipped, treated for fleas and worms, and have received age-appropriate vaccinations.
We are **not first-come, first-served**. Our goal is to match each kitty with the *purrfect* home.
Silverton Cat Rescue is a volunteer-run **501(c)(3) nonprofit**, and all cats live in foster homes. Please be patient as we coordinate meet-and-greets with our fosters.
Why We Encourage Kitten Pairs
Kittens are social and do best with a feline friend. A buddy helps with confidence, proper play, and emotional well-being. We encourage adopting kittens in pairs, or adopting a single kitten only if you already have another young cat at home.
Fun fact: **Two kittens are often easier than one!**
