Mallet would enjoy a little vacation and `me time` after doing an amazing job caring for her babies.

Reason for Foster: Recovering from nursing + monitoring heart murmur + underweight

Foster Time Frame: 2 weeks

Foster Care Plan: Mallet has just finished nursing her babies and will need 2 weeks in a foster home to recover before she is ready for her spay surgery. They would like to recheck her weight and health in about 2 weeks to see if she is ready to move forward.

Mallet is available through our Foster to Adopt program, which allows pets awaiting or undergoing medical treatment to be placed with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption. Operation Kindness is a pioneer in Texas for assisting animals in need of veterinary care, companionship and most of all, a home. We operate a lifesaving animal shelter in Carrollton, TX.
In addition to pet adoptions and lifesaving medical care, our programs provide foster care for vulnerable animals, resources for pet parents, affordable veterinary services for community pets, a pet food pantry and volunteer opportunities.
