Their adoption process
Most of our pets are available for both adoption or foster, or a foster to adopt to facilitate a purrfect match! All adoptions require an application, interview, and a contract.
All cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, fecal tested, tested for FLV/FIV, and have shots appropriate for their age. The adoption fee for cats is $100 and up (some seniors and special needs are discounted).
The adoption fee for dogs varies greatly from dog to dog, but starts in the $250 range.

- Meet the Pet
- Once the pet meets its prospective new owner and all goes well, the contract is signed, paid for and the pet goes to its new home that day.

We hold our adoptions at the Boynton Beach Petsmart, 335 N. Congress Ave., on Saturdays 10am-3pm, and Sundays 11am to 3pm. Come "meet and greet" our furry friends, sign up to volunteer, or just say "hi"!
Many of our senior animals are shown by appointment only, as it is very stressful for the animal to be brought to and from the store on weekends. These adoptions are done at the pet's foster family's home.

R U 4 Me Pet Rescue is a no-kill, nonprofit dog and cat rescue group organized to find loving forever homes for abandoned and displaced pets. We are all volunteer and have no paid staff. We receive no public funds and rely on kind friends of animals for the donations that allow us to save lives. We have no physical shelter, and utilize foster homes to provide temporary love and care for the pets prior to adoption.
