Zorro – Black Male, 4 years, 51 lbs.

Zorro is a handsome 4-year-old German Shorthair Pointer weighing in at a perfect 51 pounds. This goofy, happy boy is full of personality and always seems to be in great spirits!

About Zorro

•          Great with everyone – humans, kids, cats, dogs… even goats! He treats goats just like another dog friend.

•          Not an alpha – he’s easygoing and happy to let others take the lead.

•          Goofy & joyful – Zorro has the cutest habit of doing a little hop straight up in the air when he gets excited because he knows he’s not supposed to jump on people. It’s hard not to smile around him!

•          Leash work in progress – he’s been on leash but will benefit from continued guidance and consistency.

•          House training in progress – Zorro previously lived as a kenneled dog, so he’s learning the ropes of home life and making progress every day.

Zorro doesn’t seem to dislike much of anything — he approaches life with a happy, playful attitude and a heart ready to bond with his people. And don’t let those flecks of grey fool you — they just give him a little extra character and show off his mature side. He’s looking for a forever family that will continue his training, provide structure, and enjoy his sweet, silly personality as much as his foster does.

If you’d like to learn more about Zorro, please fill out an adoption application today. His forever home is out there — maybe it’s yours. www.labrescuefresno.org
