Meet Star — and yes, the name fits her perfectly. â¨A.t 3 years old and 22 pounds, this purebred Corgi is every bit the refined little lady she believes herself to be. Star considers herself royalty. She prefers to hold court from the sofa, watching life unfold around her, rather than participating in the chaos. She is not here for roughhousing, high energy, or sharing the spotlight — she is here to be adored.
Star recently lost her home when her family decided to focus on breeding Saint Bernards. Unfortunately, Corgis and Saints don’t always blend well, and Star found herself needing a new beginning. Thankfully, Critter Cavalry Rescue stepped in and promised her a future where she would be treasured.
And treasured she deserves to be.
Star is housebroken, crate trained (though she truly doesn’t need one), and perfectly behaved in the home. She walks beautifully on leash, is non-destructive, and has wonderfully low energy. She can live peacefully with other dogs but has no interest in playing or snuggling with them — her heart belongs to her people.
She can be a bit reserved at first. This sudden life change has been confusing for her. But once she settles in, she bonds deeply and simply wants to soak up all the love her family is willing to give.
She has been fully vetted and is healthy — something truly special in rescue. Star is currently in Nashville, TN, and we transport to the Northeast every weekend.
If you’re ready to pamper a little Queen who will quietly and loyally fill your home with grace, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at:

PLEASE NOTE: Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted. Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.
