My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Flor #20092: white/gray/orange calico, short hair, spayed female, born approx. 3/20/25

LOCATION: Adoption Center - Cat & Craft in Vista

Cats: enjoys
Dogs: comfortable
Children: late elementary+

BACKGROUND: Flor was found near a street food vendor in LA begging for food every night. She was dirty and thin and very hungry. A local rescuer took her in and she began to flourish. When we had an opportunity to help out, she transferred to The Rescue House.

PERSONALITY: Flor is a very affectionate Velcro kitty who always wants to be with her person! She’ll snuggle up with you whenever you’ll let her, including at night in your bed. As a young kitty, she also enjoys playtime and finds the fun in an assortment of toys. Flor enjoys having plenty of space to explore and move around and doesn’t like being cramped in a small apartment or shut in a room. Understandably, she’s food-motivated and is always ready for mealtime! She’s a wonderfully social and sweet companion.

COMPATIBILITY: Flor enjoys socializing with other easygoing feline friends. She fostered with large mellow dogs and did well with them as well as the children she met.

Flor is as beautiful and sweet as the flower she’s named for!
