My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lucy — a BIG girl with an even bigger heart! This affectionate sweetheart loves attention and isn’t shy about asking for it, greeting her favorite people with adorable head-butt hugs and a happy, rumbling purr. Lucy truly enjoys being close to her humans and will happily soak up all the pets and affection you’re willing to give.

With her impressive size comes a special talent: Lucy would make an excellent lap warmer. She’s perfectly content settling in for cozy cuddle sessions, keeping you warm while you relax. Gentle, loving, and wonderfully snuggly, Lucy is the kind of companion who turns quiet moments into comforting ones. If you’re looking for a devoted cuddle buddy who takes her lap-warming duties seriously, Lucy is more than ready for the job!

More about this shelter

Euclid Pet Pals is the volunteer organization whose members care for the animals at the Euclid Animal Shelter, in Euclid, Ohio. We raise funds by offering personal and business memberships and cage sponsorships. Other fundraisers include a Bark-B-Q in May, a Clam Jam in October, and car washes in July. The money we raise is used to pay for veterinary care and medications, necessary supplies, and spay/neuters. We are dedicated to providing a healthy, loving environment for animals waiting to be adopted.
