My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Scout 💛

Scout is a young female brown tabby domestic short hair with a petite frame and an even bigger heart. Small in size but overflowing with affection, Scout is the kind of cat who quietly steals your heart before you even realize it.

This sweet girl is incredibly loving and enjoys being close to her people. Whether she’s curling up beside you for a cozy nap or following you around just to keep you company, Scout thrives on connection and companionship. Her gentle personality and dainty build make her the perfect match for someone looking for a soft, loyal little shadow to share their home with.

Scout is the sister to Royce

Scout may be small, but her love is mighty. She’s ready to find a forever family who will cherish her sweetness and give her the safe, loving home she deserves.

If you’re looking for a petite, affectionate companion to brighten your days, Scout is waiting to meet you.

More about this rescue

We obtained our 501(c)(3) two years ago, but I – Char started rescuing four years ago. With Sharon’s help we were able to take in several cats and kittens the first year to be vetted, fixed and adopted. Three years ago Debbie volunteered to help me with TNR program for MGCHS. After Debbie and I teamed up on the TNR program our collection of cats has escalated. Between the 3 of us and with the help from our volunteers and donations we seem to be able take care of all their needs.
