Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Introducing Bean! Bean is a sweet, playful girl who blossoms beautifully once she feels safe. She can be a little timid when first settling into a new space, but with patience she becomes a very cuddly companion who enjoys both playtime and snuggles. Bean especially enjoys the company of other cats and has previously loved grooming and snuggling with her feline friends! In her previous home, Bean found living with dogs and very busy environments stressful, and she may do best in a quieter, feline-loving household focused on her comfort and routine. If you (and your cat) are looking for a gentle companion, Bean may be the gal for you!

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.
Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.
Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.
Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.
Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.
Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
