Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Jillie — The Playful, Once‑Shy Girl Who’s Blossomed Into a Sweet Companion.
Jillie came to rescue as a semi‑feral kitten, unsure of people and the indoor world. With time, patience, and gentle handling, she has transformed into a friendly, affectionate young cat who now seeks out attention and enjoys being part of the home.
She’s active, curious, and full of playful energy. Jillie loves to run, jump, and zip through tunnels. She doesn’t have a single favorite toy — she plays with everything and makes her own fun.
Her progress has been incredible, and she’s ready to continue blossoming in a forever home that appreciates her journey.
Personality Highlights:
- Once semi‑feral, now very friendly and social
- Loves to run, jump, and play in tunnels
- Enjoys all toys — she’s not picky
- Sweet, curious, and gaining confidence every day
- Great with other cats, kittens, and calm dogs
- Independent but affectionate with her trusted people
Health Notes:
Jillie is healthy with no major medical concerns. She does have a small spot under one eye that occasionally becomes red from drainage. Her vet has confirmed she does not have feline herpes. When the area flares, a few days of prescribed eye drops clear it up quickly.
Ideal Home:
Jillie would thrive in a home that:
- Appreciates a playful, energetic young cat
- Understands and respects her semi‑feral beginnings
- Has other friendly cats or calm dogs (optional, but she enjoys them)
- Wants a sweet, active companion who continues to grow more confident each day
Jillie has come such a long way and is ready for a family who will love her for the bright, playful, affectionate girl she has become.
If you are interested in any of our kitties, you must complete an online cat adoption application available at www.rescueahart.org/adopt/cat-application. The application will put you in touch with a HART volunteer.
All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative.
