My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Binx is a handsome 5-year-old black Domestic Shorthair with a soft coat and an even softer heart. He was sadly surrendered due to a family member’s health issues, and while the transition has been a big change for him, he’s ready to find a loving forever home where he can truly settle in.Binx may be a little shy when you first meet him, but don’t let that fool you — he warms up quickly once he feels safe. With a little patience and a calm environment, you’ll see his sweet and affectionate personality shine. He simply needs time to adjust to his new home and surroundings, and in return, he’ll reward you with quiet companionship and gentle charm. This playful boy enjoys batting around toys and would love a home stocked with fun enrichment. A sturdy scratching post and a cat tree will help him stay active and give him cozy spots to perch and observe his kingdom.Binx would do well in a home with children 5 years and older who understand how to respectfully interact with a cat, with proper supervision. His history with dogs is unknown, so any introductions to canine companions should be done slowly and thoughtfully to set everyone up for success. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful companion who just needs a little time to blossom, Binx might be your perfect match.
