I’m Jalapeña. I may look fancy with my beautiful grey tabby coat, but I’m really just a shy girl trying to figure out this big world. In foster care, I made wonderful progress and showed how sweet I can be once I feel safe. The shelter has me a little shaken again, but I’ve done it before — I know I can do it again. Treats are the key to my heart, and gentle patience is the way to help me bloom. Give me time, soft voices, and a predictable routine, and you’ll see the warm, loving girl underneath. I’m not instant — but I’m absolutely worth the wait.
