My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tony Two Toes – Proof That Love Heals 🐾

Tony Two Toes may be missing a few toes on his back paw, but he hasn’t lost an ounce of spirit. He came to us with multiple wounds and an old injury that ultimately left him with just two toes on his right back paw. Through it all, Tony has remained unbelievably sweet and trusting.

His little foot gives him character — and a great nickname — but it certainly doesn’t slow him down. He gets around just fine and is far more focused on what really matters: making friends. Tony is an incredibly friendly guy who greets you with soft eyes, happy purrs, and a “please pet me” attitude every time you walk in the room.

After everything he’s been through, Tony is more than ready for a safe, loving home where he can leave his tough days behind. He doesn’t need sympathy — just a cozy spot to nap, a gentle hand to scratch his cheeks, and someone to appreciate what a resilient, affectionate boy he truly is.

If you believe that the best cats are the ones with a little story to tell, Tony Two Toes is waiting to meet you. 🖤

Additional adoption info

For our dogs, we are a foster-based organization that primarily helps our county government-operated shelter with surrender diversion, i.e. owners rehoming pets, help with behavior issues, etc. In September 2023 we opened a cat adoption center that supports the effort to keep more cats out of the shelter.
