My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Big Head – Big Noggin, Bigger Personality 🖤

Yes, his name is Big Head… and yes, he absolutely lives up to it. But what really stands out isn’t the size of his adorable melon — it’s his massive heart.

Big Head is FIV+, but don’t let that scare you! Cats with FIV can live long, happy, completely normal lives, especially in loving indoor homes. What he does require is one very important thing: a human who’s ready for nonstop affection.

Big Head has so much love to give and absolutely zero hesitation about giving it. He’s confident, affectionate, and ready to claim his forever person.

Apply to meet this oversized lovebug — just be prepared to be headbutted into submission. 🐾

Additional adoption info

For our dogs, we are a foster-based organization that primarily helps our county government-operated shelter with surrender diversion, i.e. owners rehoming pets, help with behavior issues, etc. In September 2023 we opened a cat adoption center that supports the effort to keep more cats out of the shelter.
