Hi there! I’m Cheese, a four month old dachshund with the sweetest soul.
I am blind, but once I learn my surroundings, I move with confidence. I rely on scent, memory, and especially my brother Mac. He is my safe place, my playmate, and my steady presence.
I may not see you, but I will absolutely know you. I adore cuddling, feeling close, and curling up next to my people and my brother. Routine helps me feel secure, and I blossom in a calm, loving environment.
Mac and I are a bonded pair and need to stay together. We have grown up navigating the world side by side, and separating us would be incredibly hard on both of us. We truly complete each other.
We are looking for a home that understands that special needs doesn’t mean limited joy. It means deeper connection, patience, and a whole lot of love. And we promise to give that love right back.
If your home has room for two tiny best friends who will adore you endlessly, we’re ready.

An adoption coordinator will contact you by email within 72 hours to set up an interview and go over your application

Once your application is approved, you will receive a pre-approval letter which is valid for 6 months as you search for the perfect pet!
