Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Columbia, a loving cat with a big, spirited personality! She currently lives in our clinic, where she adores sleeping on the heating pad for our fluids, supervising the staff to make sure everyone is staying on task, and giving us a playful whack if we forget her food or simply if she wants a little extra attention. Columbia loves tossing around toy mice with long tails, proudly grabbing them and slinging them through the air with enthusiasm. Full of energy, charm, and character, she’s more than ready to find a home of her own.
Columbia also qualifies for the Abandoned Pet Rescues Medical Adoption Program because she has Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, which means her all of her veterinary care will be provided at Abandoned Pet Rescue for the rest of her life.
You don't have to travel to South America to meet Columbia, just fill out an application at www.abandonedpetrescue.org!
Columbia is vaccinated, spayed, microchipped and ready for adoption at Abandoned Pet Rescue - a no-kill shelter in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

More about this shelter
Abandoned Pet Rescue (APR) is one of the largest no-kill animal shelters in South Florida with the mission of rescuing and sheltering abandoned and abused cats and dogs with the goal of finding them new homes. APR's adoption center has about 150 cats and 30 dogs, all of which receive nutritious meals, veterinary care, enrichment and love.
APR, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was founded in 1996 by a group of volunteers who were trapping, spaying and neutering feral cats and quickly realized the greater need to help abandoned pets and advocate for a no-kill community. APR is funded solely by generous donors and grants.
