Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lil Bit arrived with her five babies, who have all since found their forever homes, and now it’s her turn to shine. She wasn’t too sure about people in the beginning, but with time and patience she has learned to enjoy gentle pets and quiet companionship. Lil Bit still prefers to keep to herself, making her a wonderful choice for someone who appreciates a calm, peaceful presence and a cat who loves her cozy naps. She especially loves stretching out by the window during golden hour, soaking up the warm sunlight, and she enjoys cuddling up with the other cats in her room when she’s feeling extra cozy.
Lil bit qualifies for Abandoned Pet Rescues Medical Adoption Program, meaning her veterinary care will be provided at Abandoned Pet Rescue for the rest of her life. She is on a special diet for her sensitive stomach.
If you’re looking for a cat who needs a little extra love and patience please fill out an adoption application at abandonedpetrescue.org!

More about this shelter
Abandoned Pet Rescue (APR) is one of the largest no-kill animal shelters in South Florida with the mission of rescuing and sheltering abandoned and abused cats and dogs with the goal of finding them new homes. APR's adoption center has about 150 cats and 30 dogs, all of which receive nutritious meals, veterinary care, enrichment and love.
APR, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was founded in 1996 by a group of volunteers who were trapping, spaying and neutering feral cats and quickly realized the greater need to help abandoned pets and advocate for a no-kill community. APR is funded solely by generous donors and grants.
