Mack is a calm, incredibly affectionate kitty who adores pets, snuggles, and spending quiet moments with his favorite people. He especially loves cringy cat toys and will show you his playful side when he's given one. He is often caught cuddling with the other kitties in his room during his down time. Mack manages occasional constipation with medication mixed into his wet food, which he happily eats. He will need an experienced adopter who can give daily fluids or if you would like to learn our clinic staff will be happy to teach you!
Mack qualifies for Abandoned Pet Rescue's Medical Adoption Program, all of his veterinary care will be provided at Abandoned Pet Rescue for the rest of his life. This sweet boy has so much love to give, and he’s hoping for the perfect home where he can finally feel comfortable and cherished. Abandoned Pet Rescue (APR) is one of the largest no-kill animal shelters in South Florida with the mission of rescuing and sheltering abandoned and abused cats and dogs with the goal of finding them new homes. APR's adoption center has about 150 cats and 30 dogs, all of which receive nutritious meals, veterinary care, enrichment and love.
APR, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was founded in 1996 by a group of volunteers who were trapping, spaying and neutering feral cats and quickly realized the greater need to help abandoned pets and advocate for a no-kill community. APR is funded solely by generous donors and grants.
