Meet Ruby!
This sweet young lady is everything wrapped up in one adorable little package.

Ruby was rescued from a hoarding situation where she lived with many dogs in a small apartment with very little human interaction. Because of that, the world is still new to her — but she’s learning every day that it can be a safe and happy place.

Ruby bonds easily with other dogs and truly thrives with canine companionship. She looks to other dogs for comfort and guidance, and meeting new dog friends is her absolute favorite thing! A confident, friendly dog in her forever home would help her continue to blossom.

If you’re looking for a dog who instantly bonds with people, Ruby may not be your girl just yet. She needs a patient, loving, and understanding home that will give her the time and space to build trust at her own pace. Once she feels safe, you’ll see her sweet and silly personality shine.

Additional adoption info

Adoption application required for dogs. However, because it stresses cats to be confined and transported with dogs long distances, we do not transport our cats. They are local to Texas only. Thank you.

Adoptions applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet..

If an adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal locally, and help the adopter screen applicants and facilitate finding another adoptive home for the pet in your area.

We are a TEXAS based rescue who transport regularly to this area. Our dogs are in TEXAS and will be transported to you if you adopt from us.

Our pets are posted on our website, and most live in homes with their fosters. We live with our foster dogs to get to know them in a home setting and to let them know that life can be good away from the streets.

We work to correct poor behaviors, teach manners and observe each dogs particular quirks and personalities so we can give accurate observations of the dogs you are interested in.

We know that dogs will sometimes behave differently with different people but we can give you our impressions of our pups and situations they have been in.
