Hi, I`m Velvet! I was rescued in Eastern Washington and came over to PAWS so I could find a home all my own. My foster family says: Velvet adjusted immediately to my Foster house and routine and she has been such a sweet, gentle, loving cat. She likes to sit on my lap while I’m working at my desk and responds well to everyone who comes in to see her and pet her. She is happy just napping, eating, and playing with her toys. After about a week at my house she is curious about the world beyond her room. We discovered that she definitely not a fan of carriers so she might get a little grumbly, but is all talk. Since arriving at PAWS, my friends say that I`m outgoing and friendly, warmed up immediately, explored the entire exam room, and was very easy to handle although she did have lots to say. Overall, Velvet has a confident personality, is very engaging and cute.
