Medical Needs: Remainder of puppy shots, and other vet recommended vaccines when age appropriate.
Must be spayed/neutered by the end July 2026. The spay/neuter appointment is included in the adoption fee at one of the clinics we use and the foster-to-adopt family will need to email GRR to request the appointment when puppy is 16-18 weeks at the clinic closest to them. (Options are Wilmington, Newark, Dover, Georgetown.) Keeping the appointment that’s assigned by the clinic will be a condition of adoption. Foster to adopt families must live within one hour of DE and be willing to travel here for the pending appointment.
Housebroken: puppy working mostly with puppy pads right now and papers
Crate trained: goes into the crate but does so with siblings has not done so alone yet
Good in the car: has ridden in a car in a carrier only with siblings has been quiet in the car
Good on a leash: have not used a leash yet
Energy level: very high as a puppy but play hard and crash hard too
Need a fenced in yard: not necessarily but I’m sure she would love to have the space to run freely
Dog Friendly: yes loves playing with siblings. Needs tolerant other dogs around as she is still a puppy and learning appropriate manners.
If yes, does your foster need another dog in its adoptive homes? No
Cat Friendly: yes
Kid Friendly: yes currently living in a home with children ages 4 through 12.
If yes, what's the youngest child you'd recommend they be placed with? Ages 4 and up with appropriate supervision as these are small puppies with very sharp teeth and very high energy.
Special traits that make your foster special or that we need to know about them? She’s the cuddliest one of the bunch. She enjoys climbing up onto you when you duck down to say hi to her she will climb up to say hi back. She loves to lick my husband’s beard almost as if she’s cleaning him.
