Miss Minny Jackson (33487) is a 6-month-old black Domestic Longhair with a soft, watchful spirit. Quiet, shy, and a little timid, Minny prefers to take her time getting to know the world around her. When you first approach her kennel, she may give a touch of attitude or scoot to the other side while she decides if you’re trustworthy—but she’ll often offer slow blinks, her gentle way of saying it’s okay to come closer.
Though cautious at first, Minny is safe to pick up, carry, and handle. She simply needs a patient friend who understands that bravery sometimes comes in small steps. Once she’s had a moment to observe, she carefully investigates her surroundings, always searching for cozy, safe places where she can feel secure.
The world can feel a little big and scary at first—but with kindness, calm voices, and a little time, she’s sure to blossom into a loyal and loving companion. For Minny, just like the character in The Help, she has a tough exterior with an inner loyalty and friendship that is unmatched.
