Charlotte was found as a stray this past winter and followed her finder home, ready to be rescued! It is believed she may have been dumped as she seems experienced with the housecat life and has zero desires to be back outside.
This cuddly girl is a professional lap warmer who will happily purr the afternoon away or make biscuits curled up with you. When you walk through the door, Charlotte will greet you with the sweetest little chirps — her special way of saying “I missed you.”
Blanket piles are her happy place, and she loves to burrow in for cozy snuggles. Charlotte is also wonderful with other cats. She has never even hissed at her foster kitty siblings and truly thrives with feline friends and would love a home with a kitty companion to cuddle and play with.

Peace Love and Paws Rescue is completely funded through fundraising efforts and public donations. All of our pets are cared for by foster homes and receive complete medical care, which includes worming, vaccinations, spaying/neutering and microchipping prior to their adoption.
This questionnaire is designed to help Peace Love and Paws Rescue determine if a specific dog is the right match for you and your household. All adopting and fostering parties are required to complete this form prior to adoption. We are three passionate, animal loving dog moms who met through various volunteer efforts at local rescues in the Detroit area. We continued talking outside of volunteering and quickly came to realize that we all had similar goals, to help as many animals in need that we possibly could. In the Detroit area, there are so many animals who need homes, medical attention, and love.
We decided that we wanted to be able to do more to help these animals. We are raising funds through selling merchandise, fundraising, donations, and supporting local community events. All funds raised will be used to establish a nonprofit status, fund the medical needs of local dogs, and find shelter animals their furever home.
Follow us on our journey to create a rescue that provides animals the love and care they need while they find their home. We will post updates on our social media of the dogs we are able to help and how your support made a difference.
