My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey! I’m Tabby and yes, I am a tabby (the name fits, right?). I’m a 2-year-old gal with a big personality… and yes, a big voice too. If my picture looks like I’m yelling, that’s just me being honest about my feelings. I’m a vocal kitty and I love to chat!

I was brought to the shelter because my previous family welcomed a new baby and just couldn’t manage a cat along with all the chaos. I love attention and will happily sit in your lap and be pet… all the time, if you’re up for it! I do have my limits, though if I’ve had enough, I’ll either run away or swat your hand to let you know politely.

I enjoy being picked up sometimes, but only when I decide it’s my time. And heads up my butt is off-limits. Touch there and you’ll get a hiss as a very clear “nope!”

I’m playful too! My absolute favorite toys are anything with catnip; I go nuts for them.

If you’re looking for a chatty, affectionate, playful kitty who knows what she likes and isn’t shy about saying it, I could be the perfect addition to your home!
