Hello… I’m Sage. My days are peaceful and full of soft coos as I sit and observe the world around me. I may be small, but my heart is full of gentle affection and quiet devotion. There’s something special about being a dove — we bring calm, warmth, and a soothing presence into the spaces we call home. I’m a curious little explorer at heart. I enjoy watching everything that goes on around me and investigating new perches or cozy spots in my enclosure. Give me a safe space and a little time, and I’ll happily make it my kingdom. Mealtime is one of my favourite parts of the day — especially when I get a tasty mix of my favourite seeds! Proper dove care is important to me. I thrive with a spacious enclosure, time to stretch my wings, a balanced diet, and a patient human who understands that birds like me do best in calm, steady environments. I’m searching for someone who truly appreciates doves — our soft sounds, our gentle personalities, and the special bonds we form with kind, respectful caregivers. I may show my love quietly, but it’s always there. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a sweet, peaceful companion, I’ll be here waiting. P.S. I came to the shelter with my dove friends after our beloved owner passed away. We’ve always had each other, and it would mean the world to me if I could be adopted with some — or even all — of them. We find comfort in our little flock, and we’d love to stay together as we begin this next chapter.
