My daily meals are very important to me (especially when they include my favourite seeds!). Proper dove care helps me thrive — a spacious enclosure, time to flutter and exercise my wings, a balanced diet, and a calm, patient home where I can feel secure. Doves like me do best with gentle routines and kind humans who appreciate our quiet companionship. I may not be loud or flashy, but I promise to fill your home with soft sounds and peaceful energy. The Windsor/Essex County Humane Society was founded in 1926 and incorporated in 1949. The Humane Society has a publicly-tendered contract with the City of Windsor to provide animal control and basic shelter services in the City. This is only a portion of the work done by our organization. In 2016 almost 12,000 animal came through the doors of our shelter and spay/neuter clinic. We can’t help them without your support.
