My name is Astrid!

Astrid is a bit more reserved at first, but once she feels safe, you’ll truly see how sweet she is. She may need a little extra time to adjust to a new environment, so having a quiet, safe space for her — especially places where she can hide and decompress — will really help her settle in.

She’s very food and treat motivated, and that’s definitely the fastest way to build trust with her. Once she’s comfortable, she’ll start coming up to you on her own to ask for attention. She’s also quite vocal and isn’t shy about meowing when she’s ready for a meal.

I truly believe she would do best with a patient family without young children. She would likely do well in a home with other cats, as long as introductions are done slowly and thoughtfully.
