As far as we know, Emmy was born to a feral mother 10+ years ago, but we have had her since she was young. She is a healthy, sweet cat, comfortable around people once she gets to know them, but shy at first. Once she is comfortable with you, she will want to hang out and see what you're doing.
Emmy generally wants breakfast as soon as she hears us moving around in the kitchen in the morning, but she waits patiently until then. She spends most of her day sleeping on a favorite chair or on the driveway in the sun; she likes to go exploring around the yard, too.
We have two cat doors so she can come in and out day or night. She will also meow to go out if necessary. At night, she roams around outside after dinner, but comes in later and "goes to bed" where she sleeps until morning.
Once in a while, she will bring in a lizard as a gift, but not very often. She does know how to use a litter box, but is used to going outside to "potty."
