Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Doris! This beautiful black-and-white short-haired lady is the perfect mix of playful energy and cozy cuddle bug. Doris has a goofy streak that will keep you smiling—whether she’s batting around a toy, chasing anything that moves, or blissed out with her favorite catnip. She loves interactive playtime but is just as happy curling up somewhere warm and cozy, especially if it’s near her people.
Doris is great with cats and does wonderfully with kids of all ages. She hasn’t met a dog while in rescue, but with proper introductions, she would probably do just fine. She’s fully litter trained and has lovely house manners.
While she’s comfortable being picked up, Doris is an independent girl who doesn’t need to be constantly held—she prefers affection on her terms and will happily settle in beside you when she’s ready for snuggles.
If you’re looking for a sweet, playful, and well-rounded companion who brings both fun and affection to your home, Doris might just be your perfect match!
Come see Doris at the Petco in Burnsville located in The Burnsville Marketplace, 14051 Aldrich Ave S, Burnsville, MN 55337.
Doris is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for her age.

Twin Cities Pet Rescue (TCPR) is a small, 501c3 nonprofit, companion animal rescue organization. TCPR does not have a facility and is 100% foster-based. TCPR rescues dogs, cats and small animals of all breeds; rescuing them from city impounds, puppy mills, and other situations of abuse and neglect. Once rescued, all animals receive veterinary care ranging from spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips, and basic testing to specialty eye surgeries, pet dermatology care, and various other specialty treatments. Once an animal is rescued by TCPR, it remains in a foster home until adopted, no matter how long that might take.
TCPR often rescues animals that are considered “less adoptable” by other rescue organizations, as they are often the ones overlooked and truly left behind; and in need of the most help. These animals might be overlooked due to their age, health status, special needs or breed. TCPR works to help as many animals in need find their furever families as we can, especially helping those animals that need help most.
