My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jesabel, a breathtaking young tortoiseshell born on April 1, 2024. Dressed in a dazzling mosaic of rich taupea spray of diffrent shades of orange, and black, she is as colorful in personality as she is in appearance. Her striking coat and bright, expressive eyes make her an absolute showstopper — but it’s her affectionate nature that truly steals hearts. Jesabel was an owner surrender from people in difficult circumstances through no fault of her own.

Jesabel is outgoing and people-focused than your typical tortie. She genuinely enjoys attention and isn’t shy about seeking it out. Whether you’re sitting down for a quiet moment or greeting her as you walk in, she’s happy to come over and say hello. She warms up quickly and has a natural way of making everyone feel chosen.

Friendly and confident, Jesabel adapts beautifully to her surroundings and enjoys being part of the action. She gets along well with the other cats while still happily engaging with visitors and soaking up affection. Petting time is her favorite, and she leans in sweetly, content to stay close.

With her vibrant beauty and loving, social spirit, Jesabel is the perfect blend of playful charm and affectionate companionship. She’s ready to brighten someone’s home with color, warmth, and plenty of purrs.

Go meet their pets

We are a foster based rescue. Our kitties are raised in loving foster homes, so they are socialized, love people and have good potty habits. Some are already adjusted to busy households with dogs, other adult cats and children. Please send us an inquiry and we will schedule a meet and greet.

More about this rescue

Small Lives Matter Kitten Rescue

We are a foster based rescue providing home care havens for kittens in need.

We are a 501(c)3 charitable organization supported by a network of volunteer fosters. We provide urgent care to neonate and sick kittens in need of life saving support.
We provide a haven to kittens until they are thriving and ready for spay and neuter surgery and then adoption.

Kittens under eight weeks old are one of the most at-risk populations in the United States, being killed or allowed to die by the hundreds of thousands every year. Our vision is that all neonatal, sick and other at-risk kittens are given a chance to grow and thrive through life-saving fosters and then adoption. Join us in the fight to stop euthanasia of orphaned kittens and share our dream that one day animals will no longer be killed in America's shelters. We believe every life is important, no matter how small.

We need everyone's help with our mission. There are many ways you can help. Please donate, volunteer to foster or adopt today!!
