Meet Elmer

Elmer is a super cute, chatty six-year-old boy who was abandoned and taken to a shelter in West Virginia, where he faced a very uncertain future until he was rescued. It’s clear he was once someone’s beloved pet — he’s playful, sweet, affectionate, and so comfortable engaging with people.
Elmer loves to softly “talk” with you while seeking pets, carrying on the sweetest little conversations. He’ll even put his paws up on you to politely (but clearly!) let you know it’s time to give him the attention and affection he so deserves.

This boy LOVES to play. His favorite toys are interactive, moving, squeaky, motion-activated toys and lasers — anything that keeps him engaged and having fun. He has a youthful, playful spirit that shines when he’s in the middle of a game.
Elmer is also a cuddle bug who enjoys snuggling close once playtime winds down. He’s friendly and social, enjoys being around other cats, and with proper introductions, he seems so chill that he might even do well with gentle dogs, too.
After everything he’s been through, Elmer is ready for a second chance — a safe, loving home where he can be your devoted companion. He’s ready for friends, love, fun, and his true furr-ever family.
Please take Elmer home — he’s ready and waiting to share his heart with you.

Adoption fee: $200, includes all shots, sterilized, dewormed, deflea, microchip
