Here's what the humans have to say about me:
🐾 Meet Honk Shoo- Naptime Extraordinaire! 🐾
Honk Shoo is a bundle of orange greatness just over 4.5 years old who loves food, food and more food! This ray of sunshine will warm up your day with his lovable personality and adoration for brushing sessions, playtime sessions, and most important napping sessions.
Honk Shoo is always happy when his person is nearby and would has kitty dreams of a mellow, quiet home to match his laid back demeanor. He does his best thinking during snoozing, so cozy spots to curl up in are a must. He is very snack motivated and hopes his forever home will be filled with treats, catnip toys and lots of love.
Honk Shoo may have FIV, but what he truly has is a love that will forever brighten your days together. He does fine with dogs but has been receptive to female cats but not a fan of his fellow male felines. He is a 10/10 snuggler and 20/10 perfect best friend.
Honk Shoo is ready to read all of his adoption applications, available below!
*You can meet Honk Shoo at PetSmart in Warwick today. Please avoid phone calls to the store, our team at Ten Lives is the best source to answer any questions you have.
Feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) is a cat-specific virus that cannot be passed onto dogs or humans. FIV is spread through deep bite wounds, typically seen on outdoor male cats who have not been neutered. It's rarely spread through grooming, sharing bowls, or litter boxes. FIV affects a cat's immune system, but most cats live long lives when they live indoors, receive routine veterinary care, have a stress-free home, and a good diet. To learn more about FIV, please visit the link below.

Please Note:
If the cat or kitten is no longer listed in the drop-down menu of the application then they are no longer available for adoption and we are not accepting applications. Due to limited volunteer power, applications submitted for cats or kittens no longer available will not be reviewed.
About Ten Lives:
Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat.
Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience!
All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
