Dante wandered up to a kind lady’s house begging for food. Life on the streets was not kind, so a trip to the vet was needed! Classy Cats took this handsome boy in to facilitate getting him healthy and ready for an indoor home with a family to love him – forever!
Dante is super easygoing! He has settled in quickly and made himself right at home. This sweet boy enjoys being petted and chin scritches are the best! Whether it’s relaxing by a window, napping in a soft cuddle bed or playing with some cat toys Dante is ready for anything! To settle down for the evening, he just may want to lay down next to you for loving!

Classy Cats is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit Texas Corporation registered with The State of Texas as a feline rescue & adoption agency. But, Classy Cats isn’t just another rescue and adoption group. Our founders and volunteers have been working cat rescue & adoption work for better than 20+ years, & collectively we have approximately 70 years of experience. We know our cats.
Our work is a labor of love and we work very hard to socialize and care for those cats we find homeless or on death row. All of our cats have been rescued from area animal shelters & pounds, or have been acquired from individuals who were no longer able to care for them
We specialize in companion animals for your home. We want to help place the cats in a home that will be a lifelong companion for them by ensuring you find the right personality for your needs.
Everyone in our organization volunteers their time and energy toward saving cat’s lives & finding them the best possible home. That means matching the cat to what the adopter wants in a cat, not just placing the cat in any home that wants a cat.
Our primary goal, in addition to placing as many homeless cats as possible into perfect homes, is to educate the public about the importance of spay & neuter and low cost locations that can provide this service.
