**CURRENTLY BEING HOUSE AT OUR FOREPAWS LOCATION** Located at 453 Ridge Road in Minooka. Open for viewing/adoptions during their regular business hours. Must apply in person. Feel free to call Forepaws for details at 779-456-7899
Muffie is a four-year-old chunky tortie who was sadly abandoned in a motel room. Although we had her owner’s information, they never responded to our calls or returned for her. Initially confused by her new surroundings, Muffie has since settled nicely into our cat room and is beginning to show her gentle, affectionate side. She enjoys being scratched and absolutely loves chin rubs, leaning in to soak up the attention. Muffie is learning to co-exist with the other cats and should do well with mellow resident felines given a slow, proper introduction. As she continues her fresh start, Muffie will need a committed adopter who can help her reach a healthier weight through a strict diet. Carrying extra pounds has made grooming difficult for her, leading to a few mats on her back, but with proper care and weight management, she’ll be feeling her very best in no time. Muffie is ready for a loving home that will give her the stability and dedication she deserves. Her adoption fee is $80, and includes her vaccines, fecal exam, deworming, registered microchip, FIV/FeLV test, current on flea preventive, and spay. She is already fixed. Call our office for adoption details at 815-725-0333.
