My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lovey is a fluffy, affectionate boy who truly lives up to his name! According to his previous family, he’s incredibly friendly, loving, and happiest when he’s lounging beside his people as a certified couch potato. He enjoys playtime just as much as relaxation time and has a goofy side that will keep you smiling. Wand toys, fun games, and anything involving food are at the top of his favorites list! Lovey has beautiful long fur that will need regular brushing to keep him looking and feeling his best. Brushing isn’t exactly his favorite activity, but with some tasty treats and a little patience, he will tolerate it. (Did we mention he LOVES food? It’s definitely the way to his heart!) He can be a bit nervous when meeting new people and may need a little time to warm up. Once he feels comfortable, he’s affectionate and enjoys pets — but he’s also good at letting you know when he’s had enough. Lovey appreciates a family that understands and respects his boundaries. He has done well living with other cats in the past and may enjoy a feline friend with a proper introduction. If you’re looking for a sweet, fluffy companion who loves snacks, playtime, and cozy couch cuddles (on his terms!), Lovey might just be your perfect match.

Change is hard for this cat. This cat will be very nervous when you first bring them home. You will need to set up a room with a litter box, food, and water. It will take days for this cat to become comfortable and confident in the new home. This cat will be going home with a behavior plan that will need to be followed in order for everyone to transition successfully.
